She was initiated into Kutiyattam by the legendary master

Guru. Dr. Ammannur Madhava Chakyar  and continues her training with a scholarship from the Sangeet Natak Akademi at the Ammannur Chachu Chakyar Smaraka Gurukulam. She had her debute at the age of 9 at Vadakkumnathan koothambalam.

She has also trained under Guru. Dr. Ammannur Madhava Chakyar,  Ammannur Kuttan Chakyar and Usha Nangiar. She has also learnt Sanskrit under Late.Dr.Painkulam Parameswara Chakyar. 

She is graduate and now completing her masters in Sanskrit.

When Sakuntalam was produced for the first time in Kutiyattam, 

She was cast as Priyamvada..

She  performs most of the important roles of the important Kutiyattams and also performs Nangiar  Koothu. She also performed the roles of Chedi and Nayika when Nganandam was revived in Kutiyattam. She did the role of Sita in Mayasirass the  of Bhasa directed by Ammannur Kuttan Chakyar. 

She performs Nangiar Koothu annually at the Vadumnathan and other Koothambalams. 

She has performed widely with the Ammannur Chachu Chakyar Smaraka Gurukulam and Natanakairali within in outside India.She has also travelled with solo performances. Presently she is working as an actress at  Ammannur Gurukulam.
